Each part of the shoe rack consists of solid beech wood.
For this we exclusively use native German beech wood. Initially the wood is damped to avoid a warp of the wood in the long run and to make it suitable for intense use. This is the only way to keep the high quality standard of the material and the longevity of the shoe rack. |

![]() | We deliberately use screws instead of glue. The drilling of the particular parts needs a three times higher effort. But the advantage of the system of the screws is, that it gives more flexibility of the material through a mechanical link. Glue causes stiffness. |
![]() | Additionally it is possible to part the shoe rack. To keep our authenticity, we use the rare sloted screws of solid brass. |

The planed woods are sanded so that they loose their raw surface. The wood is
then oiled twice with natural linseed oil.
After the first oiling, the surface of the wood is smoothed a second time with fine sandpaper. Finally with the second oiling, the wood receives its strong protection against humidity and other environmental influences. |
